'Wimmera' by Mark Brandi

‘Wimmera’ by Mark Brandi was a Christmas present I devoured within 2 days and oh wow. What a book. No wonder it won awards.  It’s well written, gripping, unsettling. A story about boys in rural Australia. A story about growing up. A story on the effects of silence, the consequences of being ‘a good boy’. Unsettling. Thought provoking.
